Pavan Khanna MD

Interventional Radiology
Dr. Khanna is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with over 10 years of experience performing the full spectrum of minimally invasive image guided procedures. Dr. Khanna has a special interest in Interventional Oncology, as well as endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial and venous thromboembolic (VTE) diseases. Due to his passion for minimally invasive cancer treatments, he has successfully created one of the highest volume liver and kidney cancer treatment programs in Northern California and was the first to bring Y90 radioembolization to the Northern California Central Valley. Dr. Khanna has spoken at numerous national conferences on Interventional Oncology and VTE in the community setting. Dr. Khanna is passionate about creating and building robust Interventional Radiology programs, with a clinical and patient centered approach.
Dr. Khanna completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency in 2014, as well as a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology in 2015 at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Khanna has been the Chairman of Department of Radiology at St Joseph’s Medical Center since 2020. Dr. Khanna was a founding partner of ARIA and is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, with MQSA certification.
